Breast Path Connect 2025 Successfully Concludes at KGMU: Spotlight on Innovation in Breast Pathology

Lucknow, May 13, 2025 — King George’s Medical University (KGMU) successfully hosted Breast Path Connect 2025, a two-day national conference and workshop focused on breast pathology, on May 12–13. Organized by the Department of Pathology under the leadership of Prof. Suresh Babu, the event brought together top experts and young pathologists from across India and abroad for an enriching academic exchange.

The conference, held on May 12, featured a series of insightful lectures and panel discussions by renowned specialists. Key themes included recent advances in breast disease diagnostics, molecular pathology, and the use of emerging technologies such as digital pathology in clinical practice.

On May 13, participants engaged in a hands-on workshop designed to enhance diagnostic skills through real-time interaction on advanced digital platforms and high-resolution microscopy. The practical training session provided attendees with the opportunity to explore complex cases in a technologically integrated learning environment.

“This is our third year of organizing impactful academic events,” said Dr. Chanchal Rana, Organizing Secretary of Breast Path Connect 2025. “After the success of the Endocrine Pathology Conference in 2023 and the Research Toolkit Workshop in 2024, this conference marks yet another significant step in our academic journey.”

Dr. Mala Sagar and Dr. Sumaira Qayoom, Co-Organizing Secretaries, were instrumental in the smooth execution of the event. The organizing team also included Dr. Shalini Bhalla and Dr. Pooja Sharma, who contributed significantly to the event’s planning and coordination.

Prof. Suresh Babu, Head of the Department of Pathology, provided visionary guidance throughout the event, ensuring both academic rigor and organizational excellence.

With its successful conclusion, Breast Path Connect 2025 reinforced KGMU’s role as a leading center for pathology education and research, and highlighted its ongoing commitment to innovation, collaboration, and academic growth in the medical field.
